Gemini BioProjects LLC

Stephanie founded Gemini BioProjects LLC in September 2002, with the goal of providing high quality, cost-effective communications support to companies in the life science industries. Since that time she has worked with a diverse group of public and private life science companies, not-for profit organizations and marketing and communications agencies.

She received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and pursued post-doctoral work in the Molecular Cardiology Division at the same institution. With an interest in helping others become excited about science and technology, she joined New York-based public relations agency Noonan/Russo Communications. During her tenure at the firm she worked with a diverse group of public and private companies to develop and implement strategic investor and media relations programs, most recently as a Vice President in the Corporate Communications division of the agency.

Expanding her base of expertise, Stephanie joined Targeted Genetics Corporation in 2000 as Director, Corporate Communications, and was promoted to Senior Director in 2002. She handled all aspects of the company's communications efforts, including outreach to investors, members of the media, patient groups, advocacy organizations and legislators, and developed communications materials and programs designed to highlight and support the company's research programs, clinical trials, manufacturing facilities, financial reporting requirements and internal communications needs. Working directly with senior management and the heads of Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Research and Development, Stephanie developed an in-depth understanding of the challenges and issues surrounding the drug development process.

Since founding Gemini BioProjects LLC, Stephanie has expanded and enhanced her understanding of the communication challenges and opportunities facing life science organizations. Building on her interest in and commitment to cutting edge science, she has expanded her offerings to include developing and editing scientific manuscripts, abstracts and white papers. She also has worked with several agencies to develop physician education and disease awareness programs and materials.
